Kilawee earned her bachelor’s degree in Non-Profit Management from Lakeland College and has worked for United Way since 2007, advancing from intern to office manager, then entering the role of Executive Director in 2015. Amber earned a certificate from the Institute of American Humanics in non-profit management leadership and is a 2015 Fond du Lac Area Association of Commerce Leadership FDL graduate.
Amber has a passion for community development and convening and finds great joy in serving on committees, coalitions, and boards. She loves volunteering along with her two teenage boys. Her favorite volunteer activity is delivering mobile meals, which she's been doing since 2016. Currently, she's involved with the Fond du Lac Falls Coalition, FDL Literacy Council, Pride Picnic, FDL Rugby Board, Healthy FDL County, and the 211 Advisory Board as chair.
